Our investment was aimed at protecting Kraków against flood by heightening and modernizing the existing levees and embankments between Kościuszko and Dąbie stage of fall as well as backwater areas of Rudawa and Wilga rivers. Heightening and modernizing levees and embankments over nearly 30 km section. The modernized levees harmonize with the urban design and historical outlook and protect the city from flood. If Swinna Poręba reservoir reduces flood wave by approx. 0.5 m, the levees will protect the city also in case of water level occurring once every 1000 years.
