Skanska provided preconstruction and construction services for this new stand-alone 78,000-SF high school classroom building with a minor renovation and reconfiguration of the existing gymnasium and Building A. The new classroom building includes three science classrooms, 21 general classrooms, a fabrication shop, a performance hall with 250-seat capacity, and open commons and study areas. Additionally, existing Buildings B and C were demolished after the new classroom building was occupied. Site development included pavement overlays to existing parking lots, lighting improvements at these lots, new concrete plazas, a rain garden and expansion and improvements to the existing septic drain field.
